Celebrating 25 years of London Fashion Week, Matthew Williamson returned to the British scene this week with his new collection. Gone was the boho look he made his name with, and in was androgynous tailoring and power shoulders. The collection included lots of embellishment and every model wore shoes with structured bows. Apparently Williamson said he created the prints by blowing up pictures of orchids, the result was digital, geometric patterns. The giant necklaces and mirror swimsuit dazzled viewers.
Matthew Williamson said he wanted to create a new silhouette with his latest collection, and I think he did just that:
