Fairground Fantasy

Last year the circus trend was at large, everywhere we were seeing harlequin patterns, tutus, star patterns, sequins, tophats and of course we were and still are seeing masks - in ads, visual merchandising and just everywhere! Surely you must have noticed Britney Spears attempt at this trend with her album ingeniously called "Circus".
Well now I am noticing a move away from the circus to the fairground - whimsical and full of fanatsy this trend is perfect for getting lost in your childhood and memories of a simpler time, where there are no troubles. A place full of attractions, thrills, rides and games of skill, strength and luck. Imagine carousels majesticly spinning, fortune tellers, cotton candy, lights flashing and the sound of laughter. Think of candy colours - doll pink, iced mint and candid violet.

From this trend branches the trend of horses, since last summer I have been noticing horses as a motif: on t-shirts, jewellery, on plates and now featured more in ads, photoshoots etc- keep an eye out...
