A bit of an unusual combination from Kane, black leather embroided with flowers - with touches of lace and tailored features. If with time this grows on me I could get on board.

Balenciaga A/W 2010

Balenciaga's latest collection felt collaged, geometric, structured and sci-fi. This was an exciting range and is fashion by a unique originator who sources all his ideas in the industrial, scientific, computer-generated possibilities of the twenty-first century. I in particular love the shoes! block-heeled loafers and brogues with the soles encased in chunks of plastic?! Thats innovation.

Anna Sui A/W 2010

Anna Sui has to be one of my favourite designers, the mood of her latest collection was vintage bordering on antique, the overall impression was curiously un-retro. The embroidery, bell-shape sleeves, colours and layering even though clashed together...worked. The touch of sophisticated fur and jewellery made the look chic and not too gypsy! Certainly her collection will influence my winter look.

Chanel A/W 2010

Lagerfeld once again put on a captivating show for his Fall collection, using icebergs to set the winter scene. The collection involved more fur than I have ever seen in a collection! The twist though? - it wasn't real. Models took the resemblence of yetis at the start, however as the show progressed there were some very wearable pieces in the collection. I particularly love the tweed jackets with fur at the bottom, and the fur chanel handbags! Fur shall make another big appearance this winter, I need to get some in my winter wardrobe!

Phoebe Philo showed her second collection for the Celine label back in February and once again she has done an excellent job. Another inspiratonal designer for my winter look:

Last week I mentioned that I am already planning my winter wardrobe for next season, next season will be an important one for me, by then I intend to hopefully have a full time job in the fashion industry. Therefore I need to look on form and bang on trend! My favourite look for next season is undeniably the military/aviator look - I cannot wait to get my hands on a gorgeous aviator jacket!
