Marike Le Roux: Flare May 2010
The 'New Romantic' according to Flare can be achieved by pairing delicate, flowing dresses with a casual twist of female dandy - specifically man-style lace up shoes. Does this look work? Marike Le Roux achieves it. These photos below are stunning, I love the low contrast of the images, and the play on texture from peeling walls, to lace and beading. These images look faded and aged yet their content is so modern day, and so right now.
