Tunbridge Wells Shop Watch

After the sales comes the new fresh spring windows! In Tunbridge Wells soft pastel and ice cream nudes are dominant, along with florals, plants, cupcakes and illustrations. See some photos I took last week:

On Safari

And the other animal motif of the moment are the more exotic Safari animals! From elephants, lions and leopards to giraffes.

Garden Critters

Although icy winds are howling and temperatures are reaching freezing outside, in the shops its apparently time to invest in the Spring season! Motifs I am starting to notice in the shops include the cute critters we see in the garden. From squirrels and rabbits to adorable robins and blue tits. See below:

Ardingly Antiques Fair

Today I ventured to Ardingly for the Antiques fair taking place today and tomorrow on the South of England showground. As featured on Kirsty's Homemade Home, this fair is an excellent place for shopping vintage items and antiques, and brings in numbers of buyers from around the country. From furniture, books, paintings, china, glassware, clothes and jewellery its all there. I could not help but make a few purchases....due to be featured in the next post. London Shop Watch

I was in London last week, and strolling along oxford street I was uninspired by all the red sale windows. It seems at this time of the year when all the stores are in sale, the easiest option for stores' windows is to use red and white vinyls stating they are in sale. Oasis at least has made an effort, steering clear of sale promotions and kept a wintery feel to their windows.

Recent Purchases

Here are some purchases I made last month to treat myself: a cosy russian style hat and a luxurious Ralph Lauren scarf. Both so far have seen me well and been winter essentials!

Christmas Gifts

This Christmas Santa was very kind to me, and I got spoilt! As well as a little spending money for the sales, I also got some beautiful gifts, such as some more rose pictures for my room, an adorable owl necklace, a dear box with a bird on, the Alice in Wonderland DVD, as well as the usual diary, calendar, gloves and bath products etc. I hope you all got equally treated and spoilt!
